Chat-O-Mat
The first of the PET's five modes is the Chat-O-Mat. This is the mode you use to talk to the Bots. The box on the left hand side of the PET shows which Bot you are currently talking to. Just type your question, request or pithy comeback, hit your enter key, and your interlocutor will speak a reply drawn from over 14 hours of pre-recorded dialog. You can summon one or more Bots in most rooms -- the boxes on the right hand side show you which Bots are available. To summon a Bot just click on its image. If you want to review a conversation, just use the scroll arrows. | |
